Shandong University of Finance and Economics

Shandong University of Finance and Economics (SDUFE) is a provincial university located in Jinan, the capital city of Shandong Province. The university was established on July 4th, 2011 by combining Shandong Economic University（1952) and Shandong University of Finance（1986）. SDUFE is made up of 4 campuses, contains 24 schools, and offers 62 undergraduate programs, 73 graduate programs and 9 doctoral programs. At present, the university has 16 provincial-level key disciplines such as Public Finance, Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, International Trade, Management Science and Engineering, etc. There are 33,000 full-time students, including about 31,000 undergraduates and 2,000 postgraduates.

The university currently has over 1,900 teachers, among which more than 900 are professors and associate professors. 15 teachers enjoy the special pension from the State Council. 4 teachers are distinguished professors with the title of Taishan Scholars of Shandong province. One teacher was selected as one of the New Century Ten Billion Talents Project. 2 teachers were selected for the New Century Talents Supporting Plan of the Ministry of Education. 17 teachers are recognized as national-level excellent teachers.

The university has 6 provincial-level research bases like the Research Base of Soft Science of Shandong Regional Economy Development, the Research Base of Shandong Public Finance and Finance, the Research Base of the Shandong Public Finance System and Social Security Systems, the Research Base of Innovation and Development in the Service Industry. It has also established research institutions like the Research Institution of Regional Economies, the Research Center of Economy, the Research Center of Agriculture and Rural Economies.

The faculty is committed to running the university openly and makes achievements in domestic and international exchanges. The university follows the internationalization of higher education and actively carries out a wide range of exchanges and cooperation with overseas colleges and institutions in countries like the USA, Canada, Britain, Australia, France, Germany, South Korea, etc.
